It is interesting to compare the ancient
cities with the current. Cities
have an important role in society, they are engines for the economy and are
areas of services
for which there is around.
We can note analyzing aerial views of ancient cities and contemporary cities that once the cities were to people, but now cities are for motor vehicles, with little room for those who need to walk to get around from one place to another in the city. This evolution is due to thoughtless changes in society, where there is an economic expansion for profit to large entrepreneurs at any cost, forgetting the quality of life, and according to Richard Register the quality of life is related to how we build our cities, so if the city is well planned there are no need to motorized transport and there are a minimum impact on nature.
