I live on campus and here everything looks very neat and planned. The buildings are beautiful and everywhere there are new works and new buildings being constructed. As we leave the campus the reality becomes another.
When we coming to downtown is quite different, there are several old and decayed building that still have a certain charm, but I believe this is a heritage that should be better cared for and preserved, after all is often history that we're made. I think that is even more interesting how the landscape changes when I take the TRAX to Daybreak, when I come in more remote areas and poorer districts I can notice how there’s a certain neglect of a part of the population, the farther away from downtown Salt Lake City we go the landscape tends to get more and more strange and with lacking in good looks. There are certain areas that should be considered, not just the places that serve as postcard to the city, for where there are people there are lives whom need to be treated with dignity and with the possibility of living well.
