In our time we
are subject to much information, many products, much of what is deemed
"essential". Such items "essential" you buy today and
tomorrow no longer has any value and has been replaced by a "better"
version which is often an old version with a different name. This obsolescence
programmed leaves us subject to another question, the waste. Daily we discard a
very high amount of various types of products which could be reused in some
way. I do not remember when was the last time I discarded something that still
have some value because I try to use the maximum I can so I'll just get another
item that when I really need.
Waste is a very serious matter and should be further explored and discussed on a daily basis, however as everything depends on the consciousness of each will not be solved only with lectures and campaigns, but when each reflect and have in mind that we must begin to change always for ourselves and not forget that the head is not just to wear a cap. I would like to get away from any cliché, but in this case I can’t and I will close with what Gandhi said "Be the change you want to see in the world".
